Victorious

Victorious is a feature documentary depicting the powerful, raw, and often surprising world of the D.C. Divas, one of America's toughest full-contact football teams - which just happens to be female.

The film follows the D.C. Divas, a group of 60-plus women and their coaches, for one season as they fight to balance their lives as mothers, wives, partners, daughters, and employees and ultimately compete for the National Championship title. From start to finish, Victorious is a film about courage: victory over self, victory over an opponent, and victory over society.

The team is a model of diversity, with players across races, religions, sexual identities, and socioeconomic status. It's the interplay of personalities that forges the unbreakable bond of the Diva family. These are not women who are almost as good as men - these are high-caliber athletes with the grit, determination, and strength to represent the best the NFL has to offer.
